wow, Lucy sounds like a very lucky girl to have someone that loves her so much, all dogs should be so well cared for! sometimes it sure does not feel fair how fast time goes with our dogs…

Great post, my sheltie Chloe started running out of the ring to get treats in the middle of runs and that was my wake up call that we had to have a different way of working with treats once the dogs really learned and knew their job.

We love using Cheerios while training our dogs. They are cheep and the dogs love them. After a nice training session our dogs get to enjoy their kongs stuffed with a little bit of peanut butter and homemade dog treats

We have had to make the same decision and it is HARD, but I deceided I can not save the world and I have to do best by my own pack. Thank heavens for foster families that foster when they can….and we will again one day but not for awhile, right now we have to help by helping with transport, occassional overnight fosters-but only if we are sure they are leaving and have a place to go…things like that.

Chase does indeed look like a very happy boy!
