A Few Days Ago

I had this dream a few days ago and actually wrote down some notes about it. If I hadn’t, I wouldn’t remember it at all at this point.

There was a part at dog camp. I needed a baby sitter, but the kids were being weird… first they were dogs, but then they turned into babies…

Then I was at a friend’s house, we’ll call her M. I accidentally pooped in her bed and I was very embarrassed! I wanted to clean it up and wash the sheets and go home. M had a house up here (she lives a bit south of me) and it was huge, and nice and clean. About 3000 square feet. But I was tired after an agility trial and wanted to go home.

She ended up having an emergency where she lived, and needed to go back, and was anxious about it. And I was wondering if another friend was going to go with her, but I never found out!

Box Jumps

Well, another agility dream. Similar to others I think. I dreamed that the agility trial was in a huge barn and to the other end there were booths set up and people were selling things for fund raisers. I was late for agility again, Open, running Chase. And when I finally managed to walk the course the jumps were boxes all pressed up against the walls. And I kept thinking that will be awful hard to jump.

And I couldn’t see the numbers on the course, and I couldn’t find a map, either. When the judge gave me the papers that were supposed to have the map, I looked but I couldn’t read any of it and my mind was really getting unfocused. (I can never read in my dreams.) But the map wasn’t there even though others were telling me it was.

My mind got really wonky and I couldn’t focus or concentrate on anything. I kept wandering around, couldn’t hold a conversation, and couldn’t focus. I lost the dogs at one point, didn’t remember where I left Chase and Levi. I had left them in the car but then the car wasn’t where I had parked it.

Someone ended up calling my husband to come get me. He did, and he took me to a psychiatrist. The doc was weird and I couldn’t understand him or focus on him and I kept wandering around the office completely lost.

It was a weird dream and not a pleasant sensation. I was actually glad when I woke up.

Agility

Okay another recurring dream I have is about doing agility with my dog. Usually, I think, it’s Levi. This dream is from a couple of nights ago. We were at a dog event, they had more than just agility, maybe flyball too… but I was doing something else with training some dogs or something and then I remembered I had to run the next course and I was late!

Then it seemed like no, Levi wasn’t entered in that run so I was okay. Hrmph. Then we all took a break from dog things and went swimming, there were two round swimming pools but they were naturally made. I remember looking into one because I was going to dive in, but the rocks were too shallow and I had to move around a little. Then I jumped in and swam and it was nice and cool. I swam to the other pool and it was a hot tub so I didn’t want to go into it, was too hot.

Hrm weird. I’ve had swimming pool dreams before too, now that I write this down.
I wonder where I will go tonight.

Finally Had a Dream

I think I haven’t been remembering my dreams lately because I’m not feeling too well. This dream is from the night before last, I told it to my husband to help me remember.

I dreamed that I was in Idaho for a dog trial on a weekend, Saturday and Sunday. I was staying with some of my Mom’s friends who were German, and they were very close to Germany and so we would go on day trips to Germany… LOL I didn’t know Idaho was close to Germany.

At the end of the weekend I found out that the seminar I was planning on going to the following weekend was actually Tuesday and Wednesday during the week. I had to call my boss to tell her I wasn’t coming back like I’d been originally planning.

So I stayed for the Seminar and then my girlfriend and I, after it was over, got on the train with our dogs to come home. The train station was weird and kinda dirty, and I seem to remember something about water slides… maybe that was another dream. :) So we get back to my house and we stay in my bedroom. My bedroom has bunk beds (like dog camp, go figure) and I slept in a top bunk. And there were rescue dogs everywhere, and some other animals, too.

In the middle of the night a cat crept in through the dog door and up onto my bunk bed with me. I thought it was Littles or Phoebe at first, but upon closer inspection I found it was a stray that had gotten in the dog door. The cat got spooked and jumped down and turned into a sort of evil cat… and I had to get her out of the house!

Then switch over to people coming over to pick up their dogs I was watching.. a friend with a couple Vizlas… and some others.

It was a weird long dream. Incorporating my trip to dog camp, my friend’s staying over, traveling, and dog rescue… LOL. All things I am currently doing!

Dreamed about Agility

I had an odd dream last night about an agility trial. It was about the July trial that I am planning on going to with Levi. Friday is excellent only, and Levi is entered. It’s the first time we get to do the excellent only day. :)
So anyway, I remember getting there late, and the place was crowded with people and moving around was hard. The first course was special and had three sections in it. If you pass all three sections you got 3 Qs. If you pass 1 section you get 1 Q etc. So anyway, it was a very hard course. There were bushes in the way, and the two sets of twelve weave polls were so close to each other it was hard to walk between them. And then I go distracted and forgot to walk the course, so when we ran we only got half the course and didn’t get any of it right so no Qs.

Then the second run was coming but for some reason I wanted to take a nap. So I did so and I missed the second run altogether.

The next day the agility field was set on a track, and you just had to run your dog around the track three times like an AKC Herding Test. But then when I was watching there were some jumps on the tracks and some little boats with water in them, and I was thinking Chase would never be able to do that because he doesn’t like baby pools.

So anyway after that three of us went to a hotel.. wait no, maybe it was more than three. But the dogs were gone and no more thoughts of agility. And one of the people, a man named Joe who I used to work with, got really sick and called the hospital. I insisted on going with him. It was in the middle of the night and I got up fully dressed, straightened myself some, and went to the bathroom that was outside the hotel room. And I cursed at the hotel for putting a fabric over the bathroom door that kept getting caught in the door and I had a hard time getting it out to open and close the door.

Strange dream, as all dreams are. I wonder if this is related to my recent turmoil about flyball. Since I’ve never been to a flyball tournament, my brain is showing me agility instead?

Oh, and at one point I was sitting in a chair with my husband, but we were not married, we were flirting like before we were married. Which was fun.
