Strange dream last night.. when I was younger, and this is in real life, I had a black rat snake who was a cool snake. I guess they can be pretty mean and nasty, but this one, his name was Navaar, was friendly and tame. I’d even take him out to the front lawn and let him slither around. He was a very cool snake. Unfortunately he died… but that’s neither here nor there.

Last night I dreamed I had another snake.. not really a pet, as it was not friendly, but it also was a black rat snake. And I was cleaning out his tiny cage, as well as some fish tanks, with my Dad. And the snake got out and bit me. But it didn’t hurt… I saw his teeth go into my hand, deep, but there was no blood, and no pain. I just squeezed his head and pulled the teeth out and put him back in his glass tank. It was odd, but I’m glad it didn’t hurt!

I do like snakes, they fall under the four leg rule. Four legs or less, it’s okay. More, it’s gross. Either way, hopefully the critter, human or non, doesn’t get mesothelioma, as that’s a nasty cancer and no one needs cancer!

As I was watching TV tonight, Robin Hood on BBS, I had a strange sense of Deja Vu. It’s not a dream in and of itself, but the Deja Vu was that I had dreamed watching this episode. His gang was tied up on the hill and he was going to be killed. And I swear I dreamed that in the past! And I’d just come home from an agility trial too. And I thought if I saw this after having dreamed it, then my dreams do come true!

But I think that a lot when I have Deja Vu and I don’t know if I really dreamed it or not. Maybe with this dream diary and keeping track, someday I will be able to verify a dream!

Instead, I want some Chicago travel… as that is where I was born, and it’s been so hot here.. but then at least it’s not humid like it is back east!

Another odd dream… it started out where I was in some sort of story where there was a bad guy and he was shedding his skin somehow. There was a small room, a small area and he had a shell like all over him, and it was cracking off in big chunks.

Then I went to some sort of area where there were a number of women and we were all getting our clothes and makeup fixed up. Which was weird because I don’t usually fix up either my clothes or my makeup, though sometimes I do want to learn how. And I was one of only three white women there, the rest were black, which I didn’t notice right away because it didn’t really occur to me until later.

Maybe I need some memory cards inserted in my brain to help me remember better… dreams sure are interesting!

I didn’t dream last night… that I remember. Mainly because I didn’t really sleep, either. I was tossing and turning until about 1am. Finally got up and took something to help me sleep. It didn’t even really help, either.

I was hot, even with the swamp cooler on. I was restless. I was too tired, I think, to sleep. I don’t like it when I’m too tired to sleep.

I almost got up to watch some TV… but the thing I don’t like about watching TV after getting out of bed in the middle of the night is how bright the TV screen is. It hurts my eyes. Though our HDTV is nice, and we use HDMI to connect to the DVD player… so I like having nice DVD movies to watch. But in the middle of the night I’d rather have some dumb sitcom to watch instead of a movie and I don’t think I have anything good recorded.

Ugh.. hopefully tonight will be better.

There really isn’t a holiday close is there…? Well, the Fourth of July is coming along, I guess. But people don’t usually get personalized gifts for the 4th. Usually it’s birthdays or Christmas or other holidays. Either way… getting a personalized gift really is the way to go!

And getting a personalized story about your child, wouldn’t that be neat? I’d love to have one of my dogs. Actually, I should get one of some of my more intricate dreams. LOL that would be pretty cool too!

Last night I dreamed that we were putting on a play… and I was going to be the Queen. It kinda morphed into a reality TV show, and then it became real. And there were some scandals going on… I kinda remember the dogs being there, I had a companion animal that I was bonded too, or something. Oh and there was a cavalier king charles spaniel that was cowering, his Mom wanted him to go into a pool and he didn’t want to. That’s probably from the hot flyball tournament I was at last weekend.

Just bits and peices of this dream remain, but I remember I had to step up and become a Queen and take charge of things. The King, my husband, wasn’t all that great of a guy and I had to learn how to get along with him and yet still do what I wanted and needed. It was interesting.

I’m tired, last weekend was busy but fun. I went to southern Utah for a flyball tournament. I so want to live in a rural area… build a house, get some nice farmhouse sinks and some property, and not have to work during the week!

I have been out of town yet again this last weekend doing dog sports. I do so love it… even though this flyball tournament was 14 hours on Saturday, and 10 hours on Sunday. Still, it’s a rush and I am doing what I love and I am very happy with that.

I brought my notebook computer with me but I was too tired to find a wireless connection. The funniest part of my sleeping was when my friend talked in his sleep in the hotel room, and I answered him. We don’t even remember what we said now. But it was funny, sleep conversations!

Sometimes I have dreams that I’m just grateful to wake up from. This was one of them. It was short… but I was feeling Lucy, my 9 year old smooth blue collie girl, and she was skin and bones. In my dream… she was getting old and couldn’t keep any weight on anymore, and so she was withering away.

I was horrified and so worried about her because she’s only 9 and she’s not really old yet! Not until next year! I was glad to wake up and find her whole and strong. I had to touch her right away because the dream was so real, I was so worried about her.

She has had some health issues lately and so I worry.. but she is strong and doing well! I have some dog health books I bought from Amazon books that we look through once in a while to see if our dogs might have any symptoms or something bad.. but usually the darn books just worry me more than anything. :p

I hate dreams about bugs. I hate bugs.. I have the four leg rule. If it has four legs or less, it’s okay. If it has more, it’s disgusting! And yeah I do like snakes and snails, they are cool. Though I can do without slugs and some other things thank you very much.

Anyway so the other day I dreamed about having a big huge beetle or something on my back. I don’t remember too much, but I wasn’t really all that freaked out, thank goodness. But it was disgusting, nonetheless. And someone was able to wipe the bug off my back.

I’d rather have dreams of ostrich feathers and feather beds and soft cuddly things!

I had a dream that I was watching a basketball game, and the Utah Jazz were playing. It was the finals of the whole season, last game… there was only one game, though. There wasn’t a series of games like in real life. It was just the one game and the Jazz were down but they were holding on okay..

And then in the middle of the game a new rule went into effect. The new rule was that there would be two basketballs instead of just one. Well, this turn of events was great for the Jazz and they ended up winning!

It was odd to see two basketballs on the court! LOL and I was watching from my teak furniture which was also super weird. And I don’t usually watch basketball, I’m not a big sports fan, so weird dream this was!
