Buying a House in California

Last night I dreamed a lot… though now I only remember a little bit. I remember I was in my Uncle’s basement, I was staying there for a while as I was looking to buy a house in California. He is in the Los Angeles area. I wanted to buy a house nearby him, with a two car garage. And I called my husband to ask what he thought of the house I was looking at, and he said he was fine with whatever I decided on.

I often dream of selling or buying a house. It’s an odd recurring theme. I do want a new house but I really don’t want to go through the process, and I don’t want to move. I’d rather fix up our current house, maybe using directbuy to do so. Though I can’t afford it right now.

I remember asking my relatives, who were there, if they thought I could buy a decent home in California for about $300,000… and they all said no. :)

On this day..

In the land of California, The real estate thing has gotten a “little out of hand”.
Greed has taken over to the point that it is almost not possible to have “The American Dream” here.
and the rental prices are no picnic here either! James

Hi James.. yeah, prices are much too high now. Maybe they’ll come down with this ‘mortgage crises’ we are hearing about.
