Dream of Work

You know those nights when you just reflect what you have done all day long, especially when it’s repetitive? That was last night for me.

So this report I’ve been working on at work for a while, involving building an populating tables, looking at MS Access and Excel, running SQL queries… I swear I did that all freakin’ night long last night and woke up to it, too.

I don’t really like nights like that! And it was the only dream I remembered from last night.

On this day..

I knew I wasn’t the only on who dreamed of coding. Sometimes the solutions to a particular problem come to me in my dreams and I wake up and run to the laptop add the code.

After years of working for IBM as a DBA/C++ Programmer, I have gotten (as my wife has) to this waking in the middle of the night to work on something that followd into my subconscious.

I’m looking over your ite for anything about dreams where you feel like you’re walking or running in place. The ones where you know you need to walk somewhere, and your legs (in the dream) just don’t want to work.
